Have You Had that Baby Yet?

Does that question sound familiar? If you've ever experienced the woes of the last few weeks of the third trimester, then you know what I'm talking about. Any time you call to talk to a friend or family member, they automatically thing you're calling to tell them you're in labor. It's funny the first few times, but it gets old really quickly. Here are some fun ways to deal with well-meaning, but annoying, family and friends during the tail end of your pregnancy:

Phone: When you call to a friend or family member, answer the phone with "Hi -- I'm not in labor."

Voicemail: Change your outgoing message to say, "Hi, you've reached the [insert name] and no, we have not had the baby yet."

In Person: If someone has the nerve to ask you this question in person, respond with something equally annoying like, "Yes, I have had the baby. " And then walk away.
