A goal for educators facilitating childbirth education classes is to offer both active and passive learning activities that both increase confidence and are fun to participate in. Brilliant activities for your birth classes do not have to be hard to create or require a lot of expensive materials. Canva, a free-to-use online graphic design tool, makes it easy and simple to create attractive handouts and teaching tools for use in perinatal classes. Additionally, the easily modifiable ready-made templates provided to all Canva users really simplifies the process, saving educators valuable time and energy. Annually, August 1 - 7 is World Breastfeeding Week. In the United States, the month of August is recognized as National Breastfeeding Month. Each week of August in the USA recognizes the unique lactation journeys of different communities. The worldwide theme in 2023 – ENABLING BREASTFEEDING: Making a difference for working parents is a critical one to address. World Breastfeeding Week 2023 brings into focus the crucial link between lactation and the challenges faced by new parents as they return to work.
