Giving Birth with Confidence, Safe & Healthy Birth, The Pregnancy Experience

Invitation to Participate: Pregnancy Research Project

Cara Terreri

The Star Legacy Foundation, the leading nonprofit organization working to prevent and care for pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and newborn death, is seeking participants for an effort to understand more about healthy pregnancies with poor outcomes. This study, called the Pregnancy Research project, is looking for people who:

  • are 18 years old or older
  • have had a stillbirth or pregnancy loss after 20 weeks in the past
  • have given birth to a living baby in the last 5 years
  • currently pregnant at 12 weeks or more in your pregnancy

People participating in the study will be asked to complete a survey, may be asked to complete a follow up survey, and will be given the option to share their prenatal and birth records. Information collected will be used to better understand poor outcomes in pregnancy and how to prevent them, as well as ways to better support families.
