    I have to have c-section due to a myeomoctomy (fibroid removal surgery). Is Lamaze class still recommended although I'm not having a natural birth?

    Lamaze classes are primarily intended to prepare you for coping with labor and for making informed decisions about labor. This would not apply to you if you are planning a cesarean. However, the International Cesarean Awareness Network has created a document that can help you prepare for a positive, family-centered cesarean experience. You will find it here.
