Hi Helen, I am currently 4 months pregnant with my first baby and every single thing is making me worried. I was just wondering if you can clear up something for me. During my first 15 weeks, my breasts have been growing, but when I arrived to my 16th week, my breast started to decrease in size. Is this normal? or should i go to a doctor? |

This isn't something I know about, but I assume you are under the care of a midwife or doctor by now--if you aren't, you should be. I don't think this deserves a visit outside of your routine visits, seeing as the symptoms don't indicate anything urgent is happening, but it definitely deserves a phone call to ease your mind. You say you are worried about everything. Knowledge is the best antidote to anxiety. Let me recommend a couple of excellent books: Pregnancy, Childbirth, and the Newborn by Penny Simkin and others and The Official Lamaze Guide: Giving Birth with Confidence by Judith Lothian & Charlotte DeVries. Lamaze International also has a week by week pregnancy guide that they will send you by e-mail for free. ~ Henci |
