Hello everyone!

My name is Carisa Silvesan and I currently am the mother of 6 kids - 1 stepdaughter, 4 boys, and 1 little girl of my own. I am due again in November and trying to find a way out of overly controlling hospital birth. I have had 1 C-section with my oldest son and 4 very successful VBACs. One of those we had to tell the doctor no because they kept pushing C-section.

My kids are 11,11, 7, 5, 3, and almost 2 years old. I am very busy as I attend school online fulltime for a BS in Psych, and am currently homeschooling as well. My goal is to be a reproductive, post miscarriage/abortion counselor because being pregnant, losing a child is such a huge part of a woman's life.

I am happy to have found this site and can see myself being quite active here =)
