I am just about to start teaching private childbirth education classes and was wondering where other educators find good videos and visual aids/props. Any leads would be great. Thanks!

Hi Gia,

I am also a childbirth educator and I really love having good visual aids! That is why I created a bunch of posters myself, because I couldn't find what I was looking for anywhere else.

You can check them out on www.birthposters.com

and see if they would be helpful to you.

Enjoy!

I recenty stopped teaching my CBC's.  I have a video that I would be more than happy to sell you.  It's Understanding Birh a comprehensive guide.  I bought it for $400 and would sell it for less if your intrested.  You can reach my at jpickup@att.net

I purchase most of my videos from Cutting Edge Press.  If I call and let them know what I am looking for they can almost always suggest something under $60 - which is affordable.  They have never steered me wrong and I enjoy working with Polly and Eric Perez.  Plus, I usually get my order within 2-3 days.

Hi. It is a pleasure to be on board with you wonderful ladies. I am one of the seven women from Israel who studied via Douglas College in Jerusalem and took the exam several weeks ago. We are so proud to be members of Lamaze!

I am also looking for audio and especially visual materials for my classes. The birthposters.com site is currently down due to technical difficulties, I hope it will be working soon. I am certainly on the look out for original and refreshing visual aids and would love to be updated should you come across new resources.

I'd like to hear from other educators which model pelvis you prefer to work with. I have seen three; the vinyl, the fabric and the miniature set. There are also sets which include various additions. What is your preference and what about your favorite product improves the clarity of your birth education classes?
