I have given birth with Factor V Leiden. I was also beginning to show signs of preeclampsia, though... so things were a little more difficult for me. They induced me with Pitocin when I was 36 weeks and my BP started to elevate. Because of the BP, they put me on an IV and made me stay in bed with things on my legs to augment my circulation. I did it without pain meds--an epidural wasn't an option because of the Lovenox and I will not take any narcotic pain meds. DS was born in 26 hours. I'm really hoping to avoid induction this time around... Sorry I couldn't be more helpful about the birthing center/homebirth possibilities with Factor V. Hope this tells you something!
