I have a Christmas due date and I remember seeing awhile back a graph correlating a rise in induction of labour to before weekends and holiday periods.

Would love to find that graph if anyone has it and also any relevant information.

Got it! I thought I had it in my files, and I did, although it took awhile to hunt it down. I had a little trouble getting the link to work, so if it is a problem search on "Births by day of the year." The most relevant information is that inducing without medical indication exposes women and babies to the risks of induction with no counterbalancing benefit.
