How about this:
Problems and Hazards of Induction of Labor?
As for Enkin, yes, the book can be extremely helpful, but not always. It is based on the Cochrane Library's systematic reviews. Unfortunately, as the Cochrane Library grew and became mainstream, it stopped being the antidote to practice based on opinion and started being part of the problem, at least in some areas. Induction for postdates, induction for prelabor rupture of membranes at term, and induction with misoprostol (Cytotec) are some of them. The problem is that when reviewers who think in terms of the medical model conduct reviews, it unconsciously affects what they see and what they don't and what they consider important and what they don't. For an example of what I mean go to
When Research is Flawed: Management of Post-Term Pregnancies, a critique of the Cochrane Review of postterm induction posted elsewhere on the "Lamaze Normal Birth" site.
