I am becoming a doula and it is very clear to me that my 'job' happens mostly before labor even starts. Once in labor, at a hospital, there is nothing I can do to go around what the doctor is saying. It is not my place. I can only advocate her birh plan in a normal situation if it is breached.  <br>maria.<br></div><br><br>
