Nursing immediately also helps and last but not least, and I think every woman should know this in case of an emergency: the placenta is a wonderful organ. A chunk of it under your tongue will stop excessive bleeding. It also helps prevent post partum depression, so good to keep some on hand :-)<br><br></div><br><br>
