Subject: Anterior placenta and VBAC - risks?
Message: Well, that was a moment of insanity on my part. Of course a placenta moves up as the uterus stretches, so if it is over the scar, it would not move past it...

But you said your placenta is not low lying. So far it seems to be a conscensus among experienced midwives practicing natural childbirth that the only foreseeable challenge you might have during labor and delivery is a higher chance for a posterior baby, with the longer labor/back labor that comes with it.

Most women give birth to a posterior baby naturally just fine.
