Anterior placenta and VBAC - risks?
Body:

Posted By Archived User on 01/16/2007 10:00 AM
Hi Henci,

I have just learned today that I have an anterior placenta (it's not low lying, though) and I'm worried that my previous c-section scar may cause problems during labour/delivery. I stupidly looked this up on the Internet and came across some frightening information about hemorraging during birth if the placenta is attached to my scar, etc. Is there anything I should be concerned about? I am planning a home VBAC with a midwife and I'm concerned that this may not be (physically) possible with an anterior placenta.

I'm in the UK, if that has any impact on your response. Thank you so much!

Elle By: ElleDee
