I'm a HUGE proponent for homebirth and believe it is a extremely safe option for birthing women but I'm a little uneasy about women who are choosing to birth unassisted. I suspect there is not much in terms of data on these births?
I found some info, that clearly indicated there were increased problems with unassisted births, but nothing recent.
ALL the birth professionals I have spoken with (Doula's and Midwifes) are concerned too about this trend, any thoughts???
