Deborah Petersburg, BS, LCCE, FACCE, has been teaching childbirth education and labor support classes since 1996 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh, NC. Deborah has been a Lamaze Program Trainer for the Duke AHEC program since 2008. For the past 15 years, Deborah has collected over 400 Birth Reports from couples in her Childbirth Education classes. Feedback from the birth reports has been used to help keep childbirth education classes updated and current.
Learning Objectives
The participant will be able to...:
• Discuss the benefits of birth reports to instructors, couples, providers, facilities
• Identify the steps to developing a birth report which include, design, distribution, cost, and rate of return.
• Discuss ethical considerations for using collected data.

This Webinar is Free to Attend. There is an opportunity for Contact Hours.
For those wishing to earn 1.0 Lamaze contact hour and/or 1.0 nursing contact hour participants must:
• Attend the entire activity – no partial credit will be awarded
• Complete an evaluation form
• Purchase the post-activity quiz ($35 for Lamaze members, $50 for non-members), complete with 30 days, and attain a score of 80% or better
