Host a Lamaze-sponsored Workshop

Hosting a Lamaze-sponsored workshop is an opportunity to partner with Lamaze to host a specialty workshop in your community. Lamaze will provide expert instructors, secure continuing education credits for participants, supply all of the necessary workshop materials and assist with the overall promotion to plan for a successful workshop. Workshop hosts are required to secure location and provide the necessary on-site support (AV, local coordination, etc) for the workshop. In addition, host coordinators receive a complimentary registration.

Lamaze International is accepting applications to host a Lamaze-sponsored Workshop in your area community for the 2010 calendar. We are looking to host workshops during the months of February – June 2010. Please complete the application and submit via email to workshops@lamaze.org.

Specialty Workshop Host Request PDF Application

Applications are due no later than November 9, 2009.  All selected hosts will be notified mid- to- end of November.

Host a Private Workshop

Hosts can partner with local hospitals, health fitness centers, open a workshop to others in the community and maximize value by assuming responsibility for managing the workshop details.

Lamaze will provide expert instructors; include the workshop on the Lamaze website and in other Lamaze publications.

All workshop participants receive the following through Lamaze:

§          Continuing education credits approved by the Virginia Nurses Association and the California

§          Board of Nursing (varies by workshop)

§         A comprehensive participant workbook

§         Supplement workshop materials

§         Skill building and networking opportunities onsite
