Hosting a workshop is an easy way to provide high quality continuing education for childbirth educators, labor nurses, doulas and other maternal-child health professionals. By partnering with Lamaze, hosts can offer dynamic and innovative education to maternal-child health professionals in their community. Experienced workshop instructors present evidence-based information, using innovative formats and creative teaching strategies to help participants develop essential skills and techniques to enhance or expand services.
The curriculum for each Lamaze workshop is updated regularly to ensure that content is current. Lamaze International is an approved provider of continuing education in nursing by the Virginia Nurses Association and the California Board of Nursing. All Lamaze workshops offer nursing contact hours and are approved by appropriate professional agencies, allowing attendees to use the contact hours to maintain certification or various licensures.
