• Hosting a Lamaze specialty workshop is a terrific option for bringing high-quality superior continuing education to a group of childbirth educators, labor nurses and doulas, in your community.
• Hosts can offer a workshop in their community for a small hosting fee and maximize value by assuming responsibility for managing the workshop details.
• Hosts can partner with local hospitals, health fitness centers and open a workshop to others in the community 
• Lamaze provides expert instructors and minimal promotion on the Lamaze website and in other Lamaze publications 
• All workshop participants receive the following  through Lamaze:
  1. A comprehensive participant workbook
  2. A specialty workshop pin
  3. Continuing education credits approved by the Virginia Nurses Association and the California Board of Nursing (varies by workshop)
  4. Skills building and networking opportunities onsite

In addition to the hosting fee for the workshop, the host is responsible for covering costs associated with instructor level travle, lodging and meals. Hosting fees are subject to change. Lamaze International will provide samples and approved text to assis the host with the development of a registration brochure.
