At Lamaze International, we are committed to ensure that childbearing families have access to information on the health and safety benefits of normal birth to mother and baby, and have access to childbirth education.

To that end, the Lamaze Institute for Normal Birth has expanded initiatives to support grassroots organizations – called Birth Networks – that provide pregnancy, birth and parenting support and resources to families. 

Lamaze International and the Lamaze Institute for Normal Birth also work closely with other organizations and individuals that support normal birth and conduct research and education to further understanding of the benefits and physiology of normal birth to mother and baby.
