Birth Network Mini-Grants
The Lamaze Birth Network Mini-Grants, a major initiative of the Lamaze Institute for Normal Birth, are designed to support the development or expansion of community-based Birth Networks that bring the public and birth professionals together to:
The Lamaze Institute for Normal Birth offers up to ten $500 to $1,000 grants annually for to support established or emerging community-based Birth Networks in North America. Please refer to the Program and Eligibility Information and Grant Application Guidelines.
Community-Based Outreach Grants
Lamaze Community-Based Outreach Grants support the the mission of Lamaze International, to promote, support and protect normal birth through education and advocacy. Expectant parents from underserved or vulnerable populations who are eager to have a healthy pregnancy, birth and baby, are often at a loss to find accessible and affordable childbirth education classes in their communities. In many cases, childbirth educators may lack the resources to reach out and provide services to these populations. The goal of the Community-Based Outreach Grant is to support Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educators and Lamaze Approved Providers who currently provide or would like to expand their childbirth education services to underserved or vulnerable populations.
Lamaze International offers five $500 grants annually for provision of childbirth education services to underserved or vulnerable populations. Please refer to the Program and Eligibility Information and Grant Application Guidelines.
International Development Mini-Grants
The International Development Mini-Grant Initiative is designed to support the development or expansion of international affiliate programs, international program development and related costs. The mini-grant can be used to support translation services, establishing an affiliate program, or bringing a Lamaze Accredited Childbirth Education Program to your country.
The International Development Mini-Grant offers five (5) to ten (10) start-up grants annually for development and expansion of international programs and affiliates.
