Certification Exam Item Writing
LCCE Educators interested in contributing to the exam writing process are welcome to submit items to the Certification Council for review. Join the Contact Hour Committee
Contact Hour Review and Approval Sub-Committee: Reviews contact hour applications submitted by outside organizations requesting Lamaze contact hours
Independent Study Development Sub-Committee: Writes homestudies based on articles from the Journal of Perinatal Education and sessions at the Lamaze International Annual Conference

Become a Candidate Coordinator
Candidate Coordinators are local volunteers who:
- Promote membership, certification and active participation in Lamaze International
- Recruit, mentor, and encourage new educators
- Facilitate birth and class observations for candidates; support student teaching and finding candidate resources
- Support and promote continuing education opportunities (Lamaze programs and seminars) in their area
- Encourage facilities and independent groups to seek recognition as Lamaze Approved Providers
